ICS Editor

Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-06-30

By using ICS Editor (“the Service”) you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

The service

ICS Editor is a free, browser-based tool for reading, editing and writing iCalendar (.ics) files. It runs entirely in your browser; we do not host or store your files.

No warranty

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that generated .ics files are error-free or compatible with every calendar application. Always verify important events before relying on them.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any loss or damage — including lost or corrupted calendar data, missed events, or any indirect or consequential damages — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. You are responsible for keeping backups of your files.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, interfere with its normal operation, attempt to disrupt it, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

Intellectual property

The application code is owned by its authors. Public-holiday data is provided by Nager.Date under the MIT license. The iCalendar engine (ical.js) is licensed under MPL-2.0.

Third-party content

Holiday names and dates are sourced from third parties and provided for convenience only; we do not guarantee their accuracy or completeness.

Changes to these terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in your place of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
